Recentemente, li a obra "O Dia do Chacal" (The Day Of The Jackal) de Frederick Forsyth publicado em 1971, um suspense envolvente que narra os planos do Chacal, um assassino profissional contratado para matar Charles de Gaulle, chefe de Estado da França. Esta leitura seria rotineira se os eventos do dia 13 de julho não fossem incrivelmente semelhantes ao desfecho do livro. Inspirado por esta mistura de ficção e realidade, criei um pôster em homenagem ao livro. Sim, contém um pequeno spoiler, mas recomendo a leitura a todos que se interessarem pelo assunto.

Recently, I read the book "The Day of the Jackal" by Frederick Forsyth (1971), a gripping thriller that narrates the plans of the Jackal, a professional assassin hired to kill Charles de Gaulle, the head of state of France. This reading would be routine if the events of July 13, 2024, were not incredibly similar to the book's ending. Inspired by this blend of fiction and reality, I created a poster in tribute to the book. Yes, it contains a small spoiler, but I recommend the reading to anyone interested in the subject.
