NAUTILUS (2024)

Ao longo de 2024, me propus a transformar minhas leituras em algo além da experiência silenciosa entre leitor e livro. Usei ferramentas de inteligência artificial como extensão do meu olhar criativo para imaginar rostos, atmosferas e cenas inspiradas nas obras que me marcaram. Cada projeto gráfico que compartilho aqui nasce desse encontro entre literatura e imagem — um exercício de interpretação visual, onde as palavras ganham forma, cor e expressão.
Desta vez, uma homenagem ao clássico Vinte Mil Léguas Submarinas, de Júlio Verne: um pôster em estilo vintage, inspirado na elegância e robustez do submarino Nautilus.
“O Nautilus era uma espécie de longo cilindro, de forma extremamente elegante. Eu calculava o seu comprimento em quase 70 metros. E, visto ao sol, na plenitude da sua velocidade, oferecia um espetáculo magnífico. Era enfeitado com um dourado brilhante, que se destacava das águas do mar.”
Para este projeto, usei uma combinação de promptografia (imagens criadas por IA generativa), pintura digital, manipulação de imagens e finalização no Photoshop — mesma técnica utilizada no projeto "Dracula".

Throughout 2024, I set out to turn my readings into something beyond the silent experience between reader and book. I used artificial intelligence tools as an extension of my creative vision to imagine faces, atmospheres, and scenes inspired by the works that left a mark on me. Each graphic project I share here is born from this intersection of literature and image — a visual interpretation exercise where words take on shape, color, and expression.
This time, it's a tribute to the classic Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne: a vintage-style poster inspired by the elegance and strength of the Nautilus submarine.
“The Nautilus was a kind of long cylinder, extremely elegant in form. I estimated its length at nearly 70 meters. Seen in the sunlight, moving at full speed, it was a magnificent sight. It was adorned with a gleaming gold finish that stood out against the sea.”
For this project, I used a combination of promptography (images created with generative AI), digital painting, image manipulation, and final editing in Photoshop — the same technique used in the Dracula project.
